The Associate Degree in Social Science is an early exit point from the Bachelor of Social Science or Bachelor of Criminal and Community Justice/ Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work.. Program Structure

Students may exit with the Associate Degree in Social Science on completion of 160 credit points of Social Science subjects.  These subjects should comprise:

  • 60 credit points from the Social Science core
  • 60 credit points of focus subjects from one or more of the approved social science majors and/or minors which are listed below, and 
  • 40 credit points of flexible subjects.

Of the 160 credit points completed, no more than 80 credit points should be at Level 1 and at least 60 credit points should be at Level 2 or 3.
