The Sport Development minor offers an introduction to knowledge and skills associated with the sport and recreation industry. Students will focus on and further develop in areas associated with physical activity, exercise, sport coaching, sociology, community development and sport management. Subjects are taken from the School of Health Science and School of Business and as such students will be expected to travel to alternative campus’. The minor is recommended as a complementary study for students in the 4656 Bachelor of Health Science program.
