Description The subject provides an overview of the ideal ethical standards for construction services incorporating the concept of trustworthiness as the only reliable indicator of ethical building and design practices. The concept of an ethical construction industry that causes no harm to end-user, client, the public or environment is explained. Students explore ethical challenges in the quality assurance mechanisms for building materials and components and reflect on their professional practice that contributes to the protection of end-users through trustworthy buildings.
