Visualising complex data sets is an important component of popular news reports, scientific and engineering applications, and business presentations. This minor equips computing students with specialised skills required to develop software that represents complex data sets in a meaningful and accessible way, covering both the mathematical background required to comprehend data and software development techniques required to represent it on a computer.
