Graduate Certificate in Vertical Transportation

This program applies to students who commenced in Spring 2022 or later.

The Graduate Certificate in Vertical Transportation provides specialist skills and knowledge to plan, design, install, assess and maintain vertical transportation systems (e.g. lifts, walkways, escalators). The program integrates the disciplines of electrical and mechanical engineering creating a specific and work ready program in the expanding Vertical Transportation industry. Students have opportunities to work on industry projects through a capstone project and complete the program in a flexible way through online workshops and exposure to hands-on practicals while learning the relevant industry standards and regulations.

Admission Criteria for this Program are

A Bachelor degree in engineering, building, construction, or relevant fields in technology and physical sciences, or
A Diploma or higher degree in engineering, building, construction, or relevant fields in technology and physical sciences, and a minimum of two years full time equivalent professional work experience on relevant roles in the vertical transportation sector.
