Description This subject introduces students to the internally diverse and dynamic nature of religions in the world today. It explores the values and beliefs of religious traditions around the world, their points of difference and similarity. It aims to equip students with an understanding of the way that religions are embedded in culture. The subject provides students with a social science and humanities based vocabulary for discussing theological notions and debating the influence of religion on history, culture and contemporary issues. The subject also provides students with an opportunity to apply academic research and writing skills.
