The Master of Medicine (Child Health) is a comprehensive program designed to enhance the expertise of medical practitioners in the field of child and adolescent health. This program blends advanced theoretical knowledge with practical clinical reasoning skills, focusing on the diagnosis and management of paediatric conditions. Students will develop the core epidemiological and statistical skills needed to design and carry out research, and to advance their training in paediatric medicine. Every aspect of the program is designed, developed and assessed by experienced academics and experts form Western Sydney University and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.
Early Exit
Students may exit this program on completion of 80 credit points with a

Inherent requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent Australian or overseas degree in Medicine and be registered with AHPRA (or equivalent international regulatory body) as a medical practitioner.
Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
