The Diploma in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is designed to give you a foundational understanding of the ICT field, with a focus on current industry trends. The curriculum covers key areas such as database design and management, networking, and cyber security, enabling you to build a skillset to tackle ICT issues using both technical and cognitive skills. You will also learn to communicate technical concepts effectively, work collaboratively, and display leadership in ICT project coordination. Upon completing the diploma, you will be well-prepared to either advance to more specialised ICT studies or enter entry-level roles within the industry in areas such as programming, database development, and system administration. This program is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents who are aged 17 years or over and not currently enrolled in or completing Year 12 in the same year of intended admission.

Program Structure
Students will need to enrol in one subject that will run online for 17 weeks (in either Autumn or Spring sessions) and will simultaneously study another four subjects on campus in block mode (1 subject studied every 4 weeks) during this period. Please note that subjects in blocks are studied over 4 weeks.
Qualification for this award requires the successful completion of 110 credit points including the subjects listed below.
