Drama, Major (0380)
- Effective from: Spring 2025
- Western Sydney University Major Code: 0380
Available to students in other Western Sydney University Programs: Yes. Check that your program has the available credit points required to complete the subjects in this field of study. Any requisite requirements must also be met. Consult your Program Advisor for further advice.
The Drama major will suit students interested in pursuing careers in acting, performance and theatre-making, creative industries, and drama teaching. When combined with an appropriate tertiary teaching qualification the Drama Major can form a pathway to becoming a secondary-school drama teacher. For students who do not wish to study a full major sequence, the subjects will also be available as electives, where appropriate, in any degree program.
