Assumed Knowledge
Knowledge related to the successful completion of year 3 Industrial Design or equivalent (e.g. Design & Technology) is assumed.
Students undertaking this subject should be able to complete tasks using word processing programs and should have an understanding of basic research methods and the use of library databases.
There is an expectation that students have skills in academic writing, report-writing, research, referencing and citations standards.
Students should have a sound understanding of project management and record-keeping, including the use of process diaries and minutes to ensure they are able to manage their projects effectively.
