Description This subject supports pre-service teachers to develop as numerate citizens. It will help them to strengthen positive attitudes, skills and knowledge about numeracy and its role in everyday contexts. Pre-service teachers will develop confidence and competence in their understanding of the role of numeracy in society, with particular emphasis on problem solving and effective communication in practical situations.
