Description In this subject students will consolidate their knowledge and midwifery skills in preparation for their role as a midwife. They will continue to practice in designated clinical areas and follow through their 10 continuity of care experiences. Students will have completed a professional portfolio and reflected on how they can identify and plan for personal professional development and leadership as midwives, including the professional development needs of others. Students will be assessed across the seven midwife standards for practice.

Restrictions
Students must be enrolled in 4697 Graduate Diploma in Midwifery and be a registered nurse employed in a participating NSW Health Local Health District facility in the position of a midwifery student.
