Description This subject will be replaced from Autumn 2022 by 401448 Becoming a Professional Nurse. This subject develops the written and interpersonal skills of students in preparation for professional practice. Students are introduced to the concepts of language, literacy and learning styles that are required for both academic and professional life. Cultural sensitivity, safety and competence that facilitate appropriate intercultural communication are explored within the context of contemporary healthcare.
