Description This subject aims to provide students with an appreciation of the ethical and legal issues surrounding the use of information systems, particularly the internet. It examines the regulatory framework to facilitate an understanding of the legal boundaries within which e-commerce may operate. Matters including the abuse of computers, the privacy of computerised data and electronic communications are critically analysed to reveal a variety of issues which are legally significant.
