Description This online subject introduces students to an examination of the environments in which business organisations operate. The subject adopts a practice-based learning approach, which means that students focus on how the ideas and issues discussed impact on organisations with which they are familiar. Students will begin by assessing their current knowledge and understanding of business organisations and then go on to explore how organisations we see today have been shaped. Drawing on individual experience of organisations as well as working collaboratively, students will develop a critical theoretical and practical understanding of the nature of business organisations and the internal and external factors that shape them.
