Description This subject provides an overview of development control and associated legislation. These include: interpretation of planning law as it relates to the development application process; the assessment of applications for approval for development as an integrated process; the evaluation of the impact assessment process; appropriate consideration of urban design, streetscape, heritage and conservation issues; and the evaluation of the impact of parking, traffic, landscape and services in development proposals.
