Students will be required to complete an 80-hour industry based placement as part of the assessment requirements for this subject. This subject focuses on advanced study in the theoretical and practical aspects of procedures necessary for assessment, planning, implementation, management and evaluation specific to recreational therapy services. Students will learn how to apply assessments in all domains of health, for example psychological, physical, social, emotional, cognitive and leisure to further develop their recreational therapy assessment and evaluation skills.
