What would happen if technologies, digital systems and devices served the interests of those who need them most? The Equitable Technologies Minor invites students to critically evaluate the impacts of technologies, reorientating them towards social and digital equity through social action. Through transdisciplinary learning experiences, students investigate how equitable technologies might transform the lives of specific communities, clients, and citizens for a more just society. This Minor contributes to industry and government requirements for an ethical technology workforce, comprised of people who will demand a socio-technically just future.
