Disability specialist expertise has become a growing area of demand in accordance with changing global policy and social service frameworks. Australia has followed these global trends, with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as the largest area of social policy reform since Medicare. Through this minor, students will develop their knowledge of disability: its history to contemporary times, disability rights, policy and governance, with a specialist focus on Indigenous Disability inclusion and mental health in the broader community.
