Cybersecurity is a fundamental aspect of information and communication systems and protecting these systems from various attacks and threats is becoming one of the major technology challenges for public and private sectors. The Cybersecurity field of study aims to develop graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in the discipline of information and communication security. This field of study covers fundamental knowledge in system and network security, security protocols and their applications in computer systems and networked systems such as cloud computing. Students will also learn other related topics such as artificial intelligence and visualisation and their application in cybersecurity development.
