The specialisation in Career Education is designed for educators and career advisors in school and postschool contexts to upskill in career advising and counselling. Co-taught by the Schools of Education and Psychology, the Career Education specialisation will enable students to develop knowledge and skills in the areas of supporting career aspirations, counselling and coaching, recognising and implementing evidence-based practice, and adolescent development. Students will develop and evaluate innovative practice to improve career advising within their work context. The specialisation is delivered in a flexible, online mode designed to fit in around work commitments, and an early exit pathway (Graduate Certificate) is available from the Master of Education program.
