The Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Management provides current aged care health professionals or those wishing to move into this sector a short, albeit comprehensive, exposure to contemporary issues in aged care. It provides an entry point to the Diploma in Aged Care Management for those who wish to continue on their professional development journey with further studies.

An undergraduate degree or higher in a relevant health-related discipline
Or
3 years full-time equivalent work experience in a relevant health-related discipline

Applications from Opal Aged Care employees need to be accompanied by a Statement of Service from Opal Aged Care in order to be eligible for, and processed as, an Opal Aged Care scholarship recipient.

Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.

Applications from Australian and New Zealand citizens and holders of permanent resident visas may be made via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or directly through the Western Portal. Applicants who have undertaken studies overseas may have to provide proof of proficiency in English. Overseas qualifications must be deemed by the Australian Education International - National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) to be equivalent to Australian qualifications in order to be considered by UAC and Western Sydney University.
