Description This unit includes intensive on-campus workshops, as students complete a 10-day placement with children under the age of two years and a second 15-day placement with children two - three years of age. There is a strong focus on building relationships with children, staff and families as well as adhering to work health and safety and the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority's (ACECQA) National Quality Standards. Students will assess children's learning and socio-cultural context and use this knowledge to plan innovative and engaging play-based learning experiences.
