Description This subject provides students with an introduction to the property profession. Students will explore key legal property concepts, such as land law, land title, and types of ownership. Town planning and development controls are also addressed, which enable students to apply the “highest and best use” concepts in property valuation. Residential valuation is introduced, along with methods for valuing more advanced properties. In addition to the incorporation of ESG in property valuation, the subject also integrates new developments in PropTech and AI applications, highlighting the emerging technologies currently reshaping the industry.
