Description In this subject, students will undertake practical research into identified technical, managerial or economic problems in the construction industry. Students are required to undertake these industry-based research projects and produce an individual final report plus a 15 minute presentation.

Learning Outcomes

1. Conduct independent industry research by using appropriate research methods under guidance.
2. Prepare a project proposal identifying an industry problem and expected outcomes.
3. Conduct industry research using appropriate research methods.
4. Produce valuable outcomes to address the identified industry problem.
5. Communicate research results at a professional level through academic writing and an oral presentation
