Telecommunications Engineering covers a wide range of engineering disciplines such as electrical, electronic, design, wireless communications, optical, power and signal processing. This Minor has been initiated to give graduates extra skill sets to complement fundamental skills that they have acquired through their major studies. Students will be introduced to programming, advanced wireless communications techniques, and communications at an advanced level through mini research projects and practical assignments to familiarise themselves with real life scenarios. The Telecommunications Engineering Minor gives certain skills sets that have been in demand from the industry and thus will strengthen graduate competitiveness in the workforce.
