The Secondary Music Education (Further Studies) Major (0367) is designed to enhance the discipline knowledge of 1939 BEd (Secondary) students intending to graduate with Music as a single teaching area. Only students concurrently registered in the Secondary Music Education Major (0366) may take this further studies major as it does not meet NESA requirements for Music teaching when taken separately. Students will have opportunities to expand their Music knowledge and skills through further studies in musicology, periods and genres, composition and arranging, music technologies and production, and performance studies.
