Computer gaming is a prominent component of modern popular culture and is a major, worldwide industry. Developing computer gaming software requires core programming skills and an understanding of the principles behind computer graphics, physics, and linear algebra. Students develop this knowledge through practical, industry-relevant activities to design modules and games. Students also learn the structure of game engines and engine programming. This minor provides students with a solid skillset for games development.
