The specialisation is designed to meet the needs of legal and non-legal professionals from Australia and overseas. This specialisation will develop specialised skills and knowledge to develop careers in the taxation and finance system. Students will be able to examine how the Australian legal and regulatory compliance requirements frame the provision of financial advice and the financial services sector as well as critically evaluate the policy rationale behind the regulation of the provision of financial advice within the Australian financial services sector to apply relevant regulatory provisions to case studies.
